Charity Soap: A Lavender Spearmint Bar That Gives Half Its Price to a Charity You Choose
Our charity soap is a lavender spearmint bar: half of what you pay goes to the charity you choose. Real handmade soap that gives back.
Some soap just cleans. Our charity soap cleans and gives back. Every Lavender Spearmint charity bar sends half its price to a charity you choose, so a bar for your shower also does some good.
How our charity soap gives back
It is simple. When you buy a Lavender Spearmint charity bar, 50% of the purchase price is donated to the charity of your choice 1. You pick the charity right on the product page, from the list shown there 1. If you are not sure which one to choose, read the list on the product page and pick the cause closest to your heart.
One small note from our shop page: charity bars are not counted toward a party where a hostess is earning rewards on your purchase 1.
Charity bars are a simple way to give. You buy soap you were going to use anyway, and half the price goes to a good cause 1.
What the bar is: real lavender spearmint soap
The charity bar is our Lavender Spearmint bar soap 1. It is made from saponified vegetable oils and essential oils, with no synthetic detergents, no mineral oil and no petroleum 1.
Saponified just means the oils were turned into soap with lye, which is how ordinary soap is made 2. Nothing else is hiding in the bar.
Spearmint
The classic garden mint, with soft, rounded leaves. Its smell is sweeter and gentler than peppermint, the mint many people know from gum.
Paired with lavender in this bar, for a smell that is calm and fresh at the same time.
Lavender brings the calm and spearmint brings the fresh. It is a lovely bar for the start or the end of the day. Like all our bar soap, it is made by hand in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Keep it on a soap dish that drains between uses, and it lasts much longer.
A gift that does two things
Charity bars make thoughtful little gifts: a teacher thank-you, a host gift, a stocking stuffer, or a small extra in a care basket. The person you give it to gets a nice bar of soap, and a charity gets half of what you paid 1. Tie a bar with a ribbon and a handwritten note, and you have a gift in under a minute.
Buying a few at once? It is an easy way to say thank you to a whole team or class. Coaches, teachers, volunteers, nurses and neighbors all use soap, so it is a gift that never sits in a drawer.
Raising money for your own group
If your school, team or nonprofit needs to raise more, a soap fundraiser goes further than single bars. Your group sells our soap, lotion and cleaners, keeps up to half of what it sells, and pays nothing upfront 3. Schools, sports teams, dance and music studios, churches and nonprofits all run fundraisers with us.
